The Game Is On

It was Sunday. Seventeen year-old Annie Mae was draped over her enormous lilac bean bag, staring idly at the ceiling fan. Her puppy, Buru, was napping on top of her discarded blouse in the corner. His fur, which was a startling shade of electric-blue due to a hair-dye accident in the bathroom, deeply contrasted the tan blouse and gray rug underneath.
“Phew...another lazy day again” Annie sighed out loud, rolling her head to peer at her pet. She tried calling Buru, but the small dog only shifted his ears and continued to doze off. “I wish something exciting would happen today”
